Half Moon Cover Reveal & Scavenger Hunt!!

I am really excited to have been asked to join author Jordan Deen in the blog tour for her second book Half Moon.  Not only do I get to surprise you with the awesome cover, but I also get to participate in the awesome giveaway and scavenger hunt!  First, let's take a look at this fabulous cover!

Isn't that gorgeous!!!
This is the sequel to The Crescent.  Half Moon is officially released on Jan. 13th, 2011!

Now I know you are all wondering about the wonderful prizes you could win! Well here is what the author is offering as a prize for this great scavenger hunt!
Half Moon Swag

$25 B&N Gift Card

Journal

Jewelry Box

USB Camera/Video recorder
Are you wondering how you can win all these great gifts? Well, you are going to hunt for certain words from certain blogs!  Each participant in the tour will feature a part of Chapter 2 from Half Moon.  In each excerpt you need to write down each word you find until you reach the final blog! It will form a sentence. Trust me, the words are easy to find, so your brain will be safe from overload!
First the rules!
1) You start and finish at Jordan's website here. She will have a special post with all the bloggers hyperlinked in the order they need to be visited.

2) You go to each bloggers website, check out their post and portion of Chapter 2 of Half Moon. Within their section there will be one word that stands out from the others. Collect that word. You must follow each of the blogs and comment on each in order to be officially entered.

3) Once you have all your words, you return to Jordan's blog and post a comment of what you thought about Chapter 2 of 'Half Moon'. Then, send an email to: info@JordanDeen.com with the sentence that the words formed from the thirteen websites.

That's all! Once you have commented, followed everyone, and emailed Jordan - you are done.
The contest will go from early morning on 9/2/2010 and conclude at midnight (California time) on9/9/2010.

Here is my exclusive excerpt of chapter two of Half Moon:

“I think we are both under such stress,” he stalled again, rubbing my hands firmly between his to match our marks, both were almost faded from sight entirely. “We just need time to grow that bond again. We need to focus on what was working before we brought you here.”
“We were allowed to be alone before,” I said as low as I could, but Nicole could have heard me whisper the words anyway. “I don’t understand why they won’t let us be alone together.”
“They know you are vulnerable right now and…” Guilt flashed on his face. “If something happens to you, I won’t be able to help you heal since I can’t take you to Haventon. If you get hurt, there’s a good chance you wouldn’t survive and neither would I.”
I hadn’t even considered the possibility of anyone being able to find me, let alone hurt me. “Do you think they know where we are?” I didn’t even know our exact location, and with my make over, I don’t think my parents would recognize me; half the time, I didn’t recognize me.
“We don’t know. Michael thinks Alex can sense you.” Brandon peeled a long section of bark off the tree and tossed it to the ground. “He thinks that your bond is stronger with Alex than it ever was with me. I just don’t get it…” Nicole slightly shook on the blanket, making me well aware that she knew what he implied and was still actively participating in our conversation.

What did you think? Do you want more? Well, I am only stop #10. If you want to read more, you will have to stop by each blog! The next stop is Frenzy Of Noise! Go search for those words! Be sure to become a follower of everyone's blog as well!

Let Brandon's light shine!! I know if Alex wasn't there the story wouldn't be exciting, but way to make me find extreme discomfort in hearing his name :-P I would cheer and go on to the next blog if I wasn't so busy re-reading this awesome quote :)
